The location of the residential complex plays a huge role in this project — on the banks of the Moscow Canal in front of a large water surface. A significant challenge was to design the complex that wouldn't overwhelm the environment and wouldn't conflict with the scenic views of the canal. The facades of the buildings are clad in a large orthogonal grid of glazed balconies, each embellished with distinct architectural patterns. This approach evokes the appearance of a water surface rippled by a gentle breeze or a passing ship, effectively mitigating the perceived length and height of the structures. The placement of the round tower on the bay shore, along with its proportions and height, evokes the image of a lighthouse and reflects its typological principles. This includes the heavier, expanding lower tier, the uniform middle section, and the stepped tripartite upper tier with continuous glazing, reminiscent of a lighthouse lantern.
